Aaron Mathew Johnson, 44, Dickinson, has been charged in district court in Ward County with Class A felony possession of a stolen white 2022 Ram 2500.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court, the vehicle had been reported stolen in Dickinson and Minot police spotted it in the parking lot of N.D. Asia on Tuesday after a dispatcher reported getting pings on its location from Sirius Satellite Radio. Police located Johnson, who allegedly admitted to stealing the vehicle. Johnson told police that he had driven someone from Dickinson to a sober living facility in Minot on Monday. His passenger did not know the vehicle had been stolen, said Johnson.

Johnson was scheduled to make an initial appearance on the charge on Wednesday in district court in Minot.
