Minot police are investigating a suspected murder in southwest Minot on Sunday.

According to Minot police, a 50-year-old woman was found shot to death at 7:01 a.m. A 23-year-old Minot man was identified as the suspect and was found dead a short distance away.

Police are withholding the names of the victim and suspected perpetrator pending family notification.
