Plaza receives USDA funds for water system
WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Agriculture, through the Office of Rural Development, has awarded a $1.5 million loan and $785,000 grant to the city of Plaza to help finance construction of a water tower and the replacement of a water main, according to Sens. Kevin Cramer and John Hoeven.
Other cities receiving funds were Larimore, which will receive a $26.4 million loan for water, sewer and storm sewer upgrades, and LaMoure, which will receive a $653,000 loan to replace a water tower.
