Joshua Kumferman, Minot, charged with domestic violence
Joshua James Kumferman, 31, is charged in district court in Minot with assaulting a woman during an altercation early Friday morning and of violating an order prohibiting him from having contact with the alleged victim.
Kumferman is charged with Class A misdemeanor domestic violence causing bodily injury and Class A misdemeanor disobedience of a judicial order. Due to a separate incident on Friday, Kumferman is also charged with Class A misdemeanor DUI – refusal of a chemical test, his third offense within seven years, Class A misdemeanor fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, and Class B misdemeanor driving with a revoked driver’s license.
Kumferman made an initial appearance on Friday in district court in Minot before Judge Stacy Louser. A pretrial conference in the case is scheduled for Jan. 27.
