Charles Payne has ND ties

Thirty-nine years ago, Charles Payne was an airman assigned to Minot Air Force Base. While at Minot AFB Payne’s job was with missile security forces, providing security in the Minot missile field. He also attended Minot State University while at Minot AFB.

Later, Payne attended Central Texas College and after the military he headed to Wall Street where he worked for a time.

Today, Payne is a renowned financial expert with Fox Business Network and has his own show, “Making Money with Charles Payne.” He also appears frequently on Fox News Channel.

On Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET, Payne will host a Fox Business Network virtual town hall, “America Votes Together,” focusing on how the candidates’ economic policies could impact the finances of everyday Americans and top business issues that matter to voters, according to Fox Business Network information.

Payne will be joined by other network experts including Managing Editor of Business News Neil Cavuto, The Claman Countdown’s Liz Claman, and WSJ at Large host Gerry Baker.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic panel members will adhere to social distancing guidelines and join the broadcast via remote video conferences. Viewers are being invited to submit their written and video questions to investedinyou@foxbusiness.com for consideration to be answered on the program.

Payne recently responded to questions from The Minot Daily News about the upcoming national town hall, the impact of the election on North Dakota and some memories of being at Minot Air Force Base.
