Todd Rosemore, Minot, sentenced to a year and a day for fourth DUI
Todd Jay Rosemore, 55, Minot, was ordered on Wednesday to serve a year and a day in prison for his fourth DUI within 15 years, a Class C felony.
Rosemore will be allowed to report to the prison to begin serving his sentence in November under the terms of a plea deal with the state. A prosecutor said the delayed reporting date is out of compassion for Rosemore’s daughter, who is getting married this fall. Rosemore also wants to tend to his business and employees before he serves the prison sentence.
Rosemore told the judge he is very sorry for his actions.
Judge Richard Hagar warned Rosemore that he will not go easy on him if Rosemore screws up again between now and November.
Hagar sentenced Rosemore to a total of three years, all suspended but the year and a day, and two years of supervised probation. Rosemore will be required to participate in the 24/7 Sobriety Program. He has already obtained a chemical dependency evaluation. Rosemore must also pay $2,525 in fines and court costs.
