Arantxa Itzel Govea, 23, Minot, has received a deferred imposition of sentence Thursday for six months on a charge of Class B misdemeanor domestic violence causing bodily injury.

Judge Richard Hagar also orderd Govea to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation and to pay $400 in court costs.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Govea and another woman had been fighting over the status of their romatic relationship and Govea’s plans to move out. She threw a table at the other woman and also allegedly grabbed the phone out of the other woman’s hand when she tried to call 911. The two women also fought over who would take their dog.

Govea had also been charged with Class C felony interference with a 911 call. Court records do not show the status of that charge.
