COVID-19 mass testing drive-through scheduled in Minot

Free testing for COVID-19 is scheduled for Wednesday from noon to 4 p.m. at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds.

Any member of the public can attend to be tested. Essential workers such as gas station and grocery store personnel are encouraged to be tested. Even if an individual does not show any outward symptoms, they can still be tested.

In contrast with earlier test procedures, those who get tested Wednesday will not have to quarantine until they receive their results.

No appointment is needed. Cloth face coverings are encouraged.

Pre-registration is not required, but it may expedite the process. To pre-register, visit www.fdhu.org.

The First District Health Unit also reminds the public that the COVID-19 situation is always changing, so there may be a possibility that the event could be changed or canceled. To check for updates, visit www.fdhu.org or the First District Health Unit’s Facebook page.
