Snowshoe workshop scheduled at Ft. Stevenson
Fort Stevenson State Park will host an Ojibway Snowshoe Lacing Workshop on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This instructor-led workshop will give participants the opportunity to lace their own pairs of Ojibway snowshoes. The cost is $85 per participant. The fee includes a snowshoe kit, lunch and snack.
The registration deadline is Jan. 1. Class size is limited to 12 participants. Register by calling Fort Stevenson State Park at 337-5576.
Fort Stevenson State Park is located three miles south of Garrison.
