Michael Meyers, Max, charged with aggravated assault, terrorizing
Michael Gene Meyers, 51, Max, is accused of holding a knife to his girlfriend’s throat and threatening to cut her and of later strangling her into unconsciousness on Oct. 5.
Meyers is charged with Class C felony terrorizing and Class C felony aggravated assault – domestic violence in district court in Minot.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court, the Ward County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a domestic altercation at the residence in Ward County and, after an investigation, placed Meyers under arrest.
A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for Nov. 14 in district court in Minot before Judge Todd Cresap.
