Jesse Fields, Minot, sentenced to time served, probation, for burglarizing garage
Jesse Tyrone Fields, 43, Minot, was sentenced on Friday to 360 days in jail, all suspended but the 42 days he has already served and six days for good behavior in jail, for entering a detached garage in Minot without permission on Dec. 21 and stealing tools.
Court records show that Fields pleaded guilty to Class C felony burglary. A Class B misdemeanor charge of refusal to halt was dismissed under the terms of the plea deal.
Judge Todd Cresap also sentenced Fields to two years of supervised probation, ordered him to have no contact with the victims, and ordered him to pay $598.59 in restitution and $1,100 in court costs. If he successfully completes probation, the Class C felony charge will be reduced to a Class A misdemeanor.
