Shalana Brown, Minot, charged with burglary
Shalana N. Brown, 38, Minot, is charged with burglarizing a southeast Minot apartment on Monday.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Brown had gone to the apartment the day before and asked for a Band-Aid and the resident suspected Brown had stolen the keys at that time. Brown then allegedly came back the next day and entered the apartment while the alleged victim was asleep on the couch and stole $300 from his wallet.
Brown made an initial appearance on the Class C felony burglary charge on Wednesday in district court in Minot. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 22 before Judge Stacy Louser.
