Stuart Duane Kelly, 50, Forest River, was sentenced on Friday to 10 years in prison, with five years suspended, and 10 years of supervised probation for exposing himself to a woman in a bar at the Vegas Motel in Minot on June 1, 2017.

Kelly, who is already a convicted sex offender with six past convictions in North Dakota and two in Tucson, Ariz., for indecent exposure, pleaded guilty in November to the Class C felony indecent exposure charge. The state’s attorney’s office sought to have him classified as a habitual offender in order to double his prison sentence.

North Central District Court Judge Stacy Louser also required Kelly to complete sex offender treatment while he is in prison, to register as a sex offender, and to pay $1,225 in court costs.
