‘Thank You For Your Service” to be shown at MSU
The Minot State University Veterans Center will present the film, “Thank You For Your Service” on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Aleshire Theater on the MSU campus.
The film is about a group of U.S. soldiers returning from Iraq and their struggle to integrate back into family and civilian life while living with the memory of war that threatens to destroy them long after they’ve left the battlefield.
Adam Schumann, a native of Minot, is the inspiration for the main character of the book and film.
Following the film there will be a question and answer time with Schumann who served with the 2nd Battalion, 16th Regiment, in Iraq during 2007-2008.
