Cody Slotto-Marsland, Zachary Parmer given no jail time, probation for burglary
Two Minot men will serve no jail time for burglarizing a Minot residence on April 9.
Zachary Greyson Parmer, 20, and Cody Lee Slotto-Marsland, 20, both pleaded guilty to Class C felony burglary on Wednesday in district court.
Under the terms of a plea deal with the state, Judge Richard Hagar sentenced the men to a year in jail, all suspended, and three years supervised probation. They will also be ordered to pay $525 in court costs. If they successfully complete probation, the felony will be reduced to a Class A misdemeanor.
Parmer and Slotto-Marsland stole a gaming system and a television and a jar full of coins from a northwest Minot residence.
