The Minot Recreation Commission, in partnership with the Minot Park District, and Minot Area Community Foundation, announced the 2017-18 opening of the Minot Fun Zone.

The Fun Zone is a free opportunity for adults to bring their young children to play in a safe, warm, fun environment during the cold winter months. It will be held in the Old Armory in the lower level of the Minot Auditorium and feature bouncing castles, games, coloring, and much more.

Hours of operation will be 9 a.m.-noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting Dec. 5. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information call the Minot Recreation Commission office at 857-4730 or go to either www.minotnd.org or www.minotparks.com.
