Mont. man killed when run over by truck identifed
KILLDEER – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a Montana man who was killed when he was run over by a service truck on N.D. Highway 22, 30 miles north of Killdeer, Thursday.
Jory Marchwick, 41, of Culbertson, Mont., died at the scene.
Marchwick was a passenger in a 2013 Chevrolet service truck driven by Mark Giles, 47, Kalispell, Mont. The truck was going north on Highway 22 when insulation blew off the bed. Giles stopped the truck to retrieve the insulation. After Marchwick, a passenger in the vehicle, picked up the insulation, he stood on the truck’s service bed. The truck backed up, Marchwick fell off the service bed and was run over.
Giles and another passenger, Jeremy Johansen, 37, Williston, were not injured.
