Minot residents can jump for joy as trampoline park nears completion

Minot’s highly anticipated HighAir Ground Trampoline Park is weeks away from making its grand opening at the Oak Park shopping center.

According to property manager Chris Lindbo, Minot’s first ever trampoline park could open in the next four weeks or the days leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Lindbo, a lifelong resident of Minot is excited about the park’s progress and the unique opportunity it provides for fellow residents.

“It feels great to bring a little bit of exercise and a whole lot of fun to the community,” Lindbo said. “This is going to be great for families and provide Minot with a unique experience. We have a few thousand followers and there are so many questions asked every day about when we’re taking applications. People want to work here, families are ready to plan their kids’ birthday parties with us and the response has been just incredible.”

Ron Merritt, the director of the Minot park district is delighted to see a resurgence in the Oak Park shopping center and welcomes the presence of a new park.

“The whole area is going to be beautiful,” Merritt said. “Trampoline parks are showing up across the country and it’s exciting to have one here in Minot. People will be able to visit both the trampoline park and Oak Park. We’re hoping to work together in the future and we’re excited about the fun time everyone will have as they gather together at both parks.”

Along with opening Minot’s trampoline park, Lindbo feels tremendous joy to create new memories at a popular childhood destination.

“This place has sentimental value,” Lindbo said. “When I was a kid, we went swimming at Oak Park all of the time and I remember going to the Oak Park shopping center to get groceries at Piggly Wiggly.”

Once considered a bustling business hub of the community, the Oak Park shopping center was devastated by the flood of 2011.

For Minot residents, the HighAir Ground Trampoline Park offers new employment opportunities, modern recreation and a chance to increase the strength of a community by helping a shopping center bounce back from adversity.

Starting at $2.99/week.
