Magic City Misfits returns to Sleep Inn and Suites to bring the community another night of drag with “The Nightmare Before Dragmas.” Starting tonight at 7 p.m., the performers will take the stage for the entertainment and fun of all who attend.

“It’s a little late for Halloween, a little early for Christmas and there is always room for Disney,” said James Falcon, co-director of Magic City Misfits.

Falcon directs Magic City Misfits alongside Christian Marcelletta and Tiffany Kerfoot.

“Nightmare Before Dragmas” will bring an array of performers from across the state. Drag shows are popular in other cities such as Grand Forks, Fargo and Bismarck, so the state has many performers to offer.

Featured performers for “The Nightmare Before Dragmas” will include MssKarri, Juwanna DeMoore, Kara Fiyera and Raven Knight. Other performers hitting the stage will be Mike Hawk, Vincent Moore, Trent Razor, Dixie Lynn Modelle, Christian Sparks, Nicole Black and Edielyn Van Doren.

“Audiences come to our shows to have fun, and we like to think we are satisfying them,” Falcon said. “We try to make the shows fun and give people what they want.”

Magic City Misfits is presenting the show as a benefit for the Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC).

“A good friend of ours, James Lowe, passed away this summer and the Domestic Violence Crisis Center was an organization close to him,” Falcon explained.

To help continue his spirit, proceeds from the show will go to DVCC. Members of the center will also be present at the show for those who want more information.

The show is open to all ages, though it is important to know that some material isn’t suitable for youngsters. IDs are required with bracelets being given out according to whether an audience member is older than 21 or younger. This is important for those interested in drinking at the event.

Tickets for “The Nightmare Before Dragmas” cost $15 for general admission. Tickets will be for sale at the door with guests able to purchase with cash or credit, but for the bar and tipping performers, cash is required.
