Wisconsin singers to perform at Minot Baptist Church

The Heritage Singers from Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin, will present a concert at Minot Baptist Church, 500 46th Avenue NE during the Sunday evening service at 6 p.m. Sunday.

The Heritage Singers are an eight-member mixed ensemble group that will travel for Maranatha Baptist University this summer, according to a press release. Their three-month tour will take them through 22 states from the Midwest to Deep South and back. The group will minister in churches and Christian schools utilizing music and preaching to challenge both teens and adults spiritually and promote the ministry of the university.

The mission of Maranatha Baptist University is to develop leaders for ministry in the local church and the world “To the Praise of His Glory.” Maranatha is a four-year coeducational institution accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association. Maranatha offers academic programs that can be taken on-ground at the main campus in Watertown, along with a number of academic programs online or at various distance locations.

The university also recently added a master of education in teaching and learning, and a master of organizational leadership to its graduate level offerings. Maranatha Baptist Seminary also offers eight masters degrees as well as a doctor of ministry degree program.
