Outdoors Life: High School fishing winners

Submitted Photo The Bismarck Century High School fishing team of Bryce Dodds, left, and Logan Bullinger claimed first place last Saturday in the North Dakota Student Angler Federation event held at Nelson Lake. Dodds and Bullinger’s three bass limit weighed in at 11.15 pounds, including the biggest bass of the derby caught by Dodds, 4.78 pounds. Second place went to Taggert Nissen and Jadon Beeter of West Fargo Sheyenne with 10.44 pounds. Finishing third was the Hazen High School team of Parker Sayler and Adin Jungers with 10.29 pounds. Nine team participated in the first event on the NDSAF calendar. The next high school tournament is Saturday, June 12, at Spiritwood Lake.
