Professional Hearing Services uses clear masks for better communication
The staff at Professional Hearing Services are introducing the use of clear masks with curbside services. Fifty-five percent of all communication is visual, and normal masks hide facial expressions and emotions, and make it difficult for patients to recognize social cues.
Cole Kidwell, a hearing instrument specialist, said in a press release, “When you arrive, give us a call! Staff will come out to the parking lot following CDC guidelines to pick up your devices, listen to what your concerns are and then perform the needed services in the office. Once completed, we will bring your hearing aids back to you, including any supplies (batteries, filters). You never have to leave your car!”
