Rock Tap House comes to Dakota Square

The new Rock Tap House offers a revamped menu and a 32–line tap tower.

What was once Grizzly’s Wood-Fired Grill at Dakota Square Mall in Minot has been renovated into a new concept of Rock Tap House.

The owners of Grizzly’s were looking for something different, so they transitioned to Rock Tap House.

“Now, it’s 32 beers on tap and burgers and tacos and wings are the main focus,” assistant general manager Tiffany Hanson said. “The owners took the best of their menus and put it into one.”

The location was closed for about two weeks to make the transition to the new hangout. Rock Tap House has installed 15 new TV’s, a 32-line tap tower and is working to make a “game room” in the back of the store with more renovations to come.

“Over time they will be renovating and kind of updating stuff,” Hanson said. “We’re hoping to eventually get a dart team.”

The vibe of the new Rock Tap House is to be more than just a place to eat. The game room will offer activities for both children and adults, the TV’s will show sports games and music videos and the tap house features a revamped beer and cocktail menu.

Rock Tap House officially opened Tuesday, Oct. 16.

Dakota Square Mall is located at 2400 10th Street SW. Rock Tap House is located near Ulta and Old Navy, with entrances inside the mall and the exterior.

Starting at $2.99/week.
