Souris River Designs: From dreams to do

Picture this: a large kitchen with a backsplash of colored tiles, brand new cabinetry, and endless countertops of sparkling granite. Upstairs, a large master ensuite boasts a jacuzzi tub and a shower surrounded in stone plates and glass walls.

If this just described your dream kitchen and bathroom, Souris River Designs can help with that. This interior design and remodeling contractor proudly offers the largest kitchen, bath, and remodeling showroom in Minot. Their goal? As founder and president Dave Lebrun puts it, “We would love to be the customer’s one-stop shop for all kitchen and bath needs.”

Souris River Designs has been operating in Minot for almost 15 years, with employees dedicated to providing the best investment value to clients both in services and products.

The business recently had a re-grand opening celebration the week of Oct. 20 in which they opened a brand new showroom expansion to show off more product to their customers. The week included special events such as a ribbon cutting, a cooking demonstration featuring Dacor appliances, and prize drawings. According to Lebrun, the re-grand opening was a success. “It went really well and we had a great turnout,” Lebrun said. “We used our own crews to do the new showroom, so after the 18-month project was complete we were proud to open it up to the public.”

Lebrun had a passion for remodeling long before Souris River Designs was established, though. He and his wife, Sharon, built custom cabinetry for more than a decade before starting the company. He has even remodelled his own home and his grown children’s homes as well. “I enjoy remodeling homes, I enjoy the challenge,” Lebrun said. “Between myself and our designers, we have over 50 years of experience.”

Souris River Designs offers help to both do-it-yourselfers and those who do not want to do any work at all. There are even three designers on staff to help customers design projects and make selections that best suit their needs. The company usually does projects within a 60-mile radius but have a few that are even farther out than that.

Starting at $2.99/week.
