Summer theatre youth camp registration due Sunday

MSU Summer Theatre is offering its first youth camp for children between the ages of 11 and 18. “We like to be able to give young actors the opportunity to share our stage, but it’s not always easy to find the right shows for all the talented people who audition,” Chad Gifford, the artistic director for MSU Summer Theatre, said in a news release. “I suggested to our board of directors that we try a camp specifically for older youth and they immediately supported the idea.” Crystal Michels, president of the Summer Theatre Board, said this fills a gap in theater experiences ...
