The Annual Military Appreciation Day, which is regularly hosted by the Minot Area Chamber EDC, Minot Parks and others, was held on Friday in Oak Park.

Members of the military and their families were provided free meals and entertainment in the park. Entertainment included two bounce houses, cornhole boards, tic-tac-toe boards and plastic axe throwing. Various informational tables were also available for everyone.

Families also were able to enjoy free admission to Roosevelt Park Zoo all day and free skating at the MAYSA Arena from 12-2 p.m. Military members also will receive free zoo admission every Wednesday in June.
