Norsk Hostfest finalizes entertainment lineup

Ventriloquist Terry Fator will replace Jay Leno in Norsk Hostfest’s 2023 Great Hall lineup. Norsk Hostfest has announced the remaining acts that round out the seven shows to be performed in the Great Hall of the Vikings Sept. 27-30.

Leno canceled his 2023 nationwide comedy tour due to a conflicting work obligation but has replaced all dates with Fator, who will appear at Hostfest Sept. 29 at 1 p.m.

Fator is among the world’s most gifted and accomplished ventriloquists and is able to perform in more than 200 celebrity voices. He won NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” headlined his own record-breaking show at The Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for 11 years and launched his new show at New York-New York Hotel & Casino in March 2021.

Also in the lineup are The Oak Ridge Boys, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.; Daughtry, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m.; and Brothers Osborne, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.

The four-part harmonies and upbeat songs of The Oak Ridge Boys have spawned dozens of country hits and a No. 1 pop smash, earned GRAMMY, Dove, CMA, and ACM awards and garnered a host of other industry and fan accolades. Every time they step before an audience, the Oaks bring four decades of charted singles and 50 years of tradition to the stage.

Daughtry has sold more than nine million albums and 16 million singles worldwide as well as selling out concerts across the globe. Their debut album, the self-titled Daughtry, was the top-selling album of 2007 and earned numerous awards, including Album of the Year. The subsequent albums were all certified Gold and placed in the top 10 in the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart. In 2020, Daughtry released their newest single, “World On Fire.”

Two sons from a working-class family, John and TJ Osborne, formed Brothers Osborne as a duo that blends equal parts country and rock. Standing as nine-time Grammy nominees, the singer/songwriter siblings recently took home their first trophy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance (“Younger Me”) at the 64th GRAMMY Awards. Overall, Brothers Osborne have collected five CMA and six ACM trophies.
