Trinity Health Foundation has announced the 28th Annual Building Hope Women’s Golf Tournament and 4th Annual Chopper Drop will be held on Monday, June 8, at Souris Valley Golf Course in Minot. The event will also benefit the CancerCare Patient Assistance Fund. This fund provides direct financial assistance to cancer patients and their families, as well as essential items such as gas cards, wigs and compression garments. Local bands take part in Williston Band Day

WILLISTON — Bands from Minot and Minot Air Force Base were among groups taking part in the 99th annual Williston Band Day Saturday, May 10, in Williston. Seahawks Blue Thunder, a high-energy entertainment drumline from Seattle, Washington, also participated in the event. The drumline was established in 2004 at Lumen Field in Seattle, performing at the stadium before, during and after games.
