Christian Center expansion

A campaign goal of $4.5 million has been reached that will fund improvements and expansion to facilities at Metigoshe Ministries’ Pelican Lake summer camp site and the Christian Center on Lake Metigoshe. According to a press release, the completed projects at Camp Metigoshe include 16 new cabins, an expanded storm shelter, staff office and meeting space, and a new retreat house named Gary’s Place. In this world, we will have heartache and pain. When we face pain we need two things. We must suspend our analysis, seek comfort and process the pain. Jesus experienced much heartache and pain, and he promised to leave us with peace. John 14:27 states, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. First Baptist Church of Minot will hold Victory Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 23-27. Bible school will include Bible stories, music, games, crafts, and snacks. A month ago, I hung up a wood message board in my 10-year-old daughter, Brooke’s, bathroom. A week later, as she was getting ready for school, we heard a loud bang in her bathroom. Soon after, she came out with tears in her eyes and a red mark on her foot. My wife, Teri, gave her a hug. Pursuit Church members, others to do community service on Friday and Saturday

More than 400 volunteers will come together to complete nearly 40 community service projects in Minot and Stanley on Friday and Saturday as part of The Pursuit church’s City Serve. This year some of the projects will include detailing vehicles for foster families, cleaning parks in Minot, hosting a blood drive at The Pursuit Church, and helping out at Roosevelt Park Zoo. The Pursuit has campuses in both Minot and Stanley.
