Minot man sentenced for fentanyl distribution
A Minot man has been sentenced to serve a concurrent sentence of five years after pleading guilty to three separate cases including distributing fentanyl which resulted in an overdose in April 2025. Chantz Christian Conaway, 33, entered his change of plea in the three cases in North Central District Court Friday, Feb. 13. Conaway pleaded guilty to distribution of controlled substance-resulting in death or injury, a Class A felony; criminal trespass-dwelling, a Class C felony; and refusal to halt, a Class B misdemeanor.
