The normal season games wound down the final week while playoffs for the WDA gathered momentum with no adjustments in seeding from the last games to start November this week.

Minot High honored four seniors to start the game. Outside hitters Leighton Johnson, Brooke Bedell and Kynsli Gillmore joined middle blocker Hadlea Faul as the group playing their final regular season game.

The Western Dakota Association (WDA) has set the brackets for closing out regular season play and heading into post season action in preparation for state tournament play.

The Majettes rallied one final time at their home court on Senior Night to wind down the season's final game of play. The Lady Patriots played controlled ball from the opening whistle and did not trail in any of the action.

Centennial posted wins of 25-16, 25-16 and 25-13 to close out the regular season of play. The Majettes played well and posted competitive efforts but were unable to turn the up-beat effort into enough wins to keep the victory home.

Parker Lutman posted 12 kills for the Centennials while Sierra Blotsky posted 19 and Kenley Melby added 16 assists on the night. Kinley Pedersen added 12 digs for the Lady Patriots in the win.

Centennial High at 16-2 is atop the WDA while Minot High at 6-12 is in seventh place and with a win at home would not be able to leap into sixth with two losses to Minot North over the course of the season.

Minot High faces Dickinsen on Thursday, November 5 in a play in game. With a win, the Majettes advance to make the WDA tournament.
