While the weather has been improving, finally showing the end of our snowy season, garage doors are opening and yards are getting set up for rummage sales. While some have already started, the city-wide garage sale weekend is kicking off May 11 and going through May 13 for all thrifty shoppers to head out and purchase a variety of treasures, trinkets, furniture, and more from other members of the community.

Hosted by Minot’s iHeart Media, many people signed up to be a part of the official event, and while not everyone may have signed up through the official event, garage sales will span the neighborhoods across the town.

The city-wide garage sale will officially start at 8 a.m. today, but garage sales will have their own times that they will be open.
