Drew Jordan kept Dickinson’s offense in check during the second game of a doubleheader for the Minot High baseball team against the Mavericks on Tuesday, April 7. Jordan allowed two runs on just two hits over six innings, striking out seven and walking five, as the Magicians came away with a 4-2 victory to salvage a split with Dickinson. The Dickinson softball team showed off its offensive production in a sweep of Minot North on Tuesday, April 7. The Mavericks plated 16 runs on 20 hits to open the series with a 16-7 victory and completed the sweep by scoring 11 runs on nine hits in an 11-1 win. The Mavericks jumped out to a 10-1 lead through two innings of the opener.
