Beavers to face Wolves, seek second victory

The Minot State Beavers will take on Northern State University in their final away game of the regular season this Saturday, Nov. 8.
The Minot State Beavers and the Northern State University Wolves have played each other during the regular season every year since 2012, and last year, the Beavers took home their first victory against the wolves 17-14. The Beavers took an early lead in the end of the first quarter of the ball game with a 23 yard field goal but quickly fell behind when Northern State University scored the first touchdown of the game in the second quarter. The Wolves kept their lead over the Beavers through the rest of the game until the Beavers scored a touchdown with one minute 46 seconds left in the game for a new score of 17-14.
The Beavers have earned a total of 210 points over the course of their twelve games against the Wolves, scoring an average of 17.5 points per game. The two teams will face off in Aberdeen, South Dakota at the Dacotah Bank Stadium at 2 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 8.
