BISMARCK — There were roughly 25 teams from across the North Dakota landscape that made the trek to the McDowell Dam Recreational Area at Bismarck for the annual Anderson-Stavn Invite cross country meet for both girls and boys.

For the girls, Bismarck High won the team title with a low score of 70 while Bismarck Century was second at 109 and Williston was third with a team low of 112 at the event.

Minot High was fifth with a 139 team score for the event. Majettes’s Sophia Lade posted a time of 20:06 for ninth place overall. Lucy Harris came in at 20:21 in 14th place. Kaylee Jackson finished at 24th place with a 20:50 mark.

The Rugby girls finished in ninth place at the meet. Hannah Senechal finished at 21:14 in 38th place with teammate Keyara Lundstrom right behind her in 39th place with a 21:15 time. Kathryn Kuntz was next across the line in 40th place with a 21:22 time for the race.

For the boys, Bismarck High was again the top team with a team low score of 58 for the win. Bowman County flexed their might with a 73 for second place. As with the girls, the boys from Williston posted 90 for third place at the event.

The Minot North boys posted a ninth place team score of 305 on the day. Dallin Chapman posted a time of 16:40 for 12th place while teammate Nolan Howey hit 17:13 for 31st place.

Minot High boys finished in 11th place with a 331 team score. Benjamin Harris crossed the line at 17:05 in 26th place and Nolan Berglof posted a 17:56 for 58th place for the Magicians.
