Brandt steps down from helm of the MSU women’s basketball program

The Minot State University women’s basketball program is now the third athletic team that has had its coach step down so far this year. Michael Brandt stepped down from the position on Friday, March 1, 2024, the university confirmed to The Minot Daily News.
According to a statement from the MSU Department of Athletics, “Minot State began a nationwide search for a new women’s basketball head coach on Monday, March 3.”
Brandt was hired on March 31, 2021.
In his three years leading the program, he compiled a 30-56 record, including a 10-22 record this past season.
