Senior Jordan Chappell was dominant on Tuesday, fanning eight Augustana (SD) hitters over 5.1 innings of work to help lead the Minot State Beavers past the Vikings 11-3.

In addition to his eight strikeouts, Chappell (3-3) went 5.1 innings, giving up three runs, one earned, on three hits and walking two for Minot State (16-13, 10-4). Senior Branden Hatley also made an impact on the mound for the Beavers, throwing one scoreless inning while allowing no hits, with no walks and one strikeout.
