NDHSAA approves site change for state swim meet

According to the NDHSAA website, the NDHSAA Board of Directors approved site changes to the 2020 NDHSAA Girls Swimming and Diving State Meet.

The swimming portion of the state meet will now be held at Bismarck State College Aquatics and Wellness Center in Bismarck. Meanwhile, the Nov. 14 date of the state meet remains unchanged.

The diving portion of the meet will be held at Mandan High School. Originally, the swimming portion of the meet was to be held in two separate sessions on November 14 at the Hulbert Aquatics Center in West Fargo, while the diving portion of the meet was to be held November 14 at Fargo Davies High School.

The state meet remains a one-day meet with timed and scored finals in all events. There will be two sessions of swimming and one session of diving. Masks will be required for all coaches, participants and workers.

Dave Zittleman, athletic director at Bismarck Public Schools, is the tournament manager. Previously, Jay DeCann, athletic director at West Fargo High School, was slated with tournament manager duties.
