MSU wrestling adds 23 in 2019 class

Minot State head wrestling coach Evan Forde announced the addition of 23 members to the Beaver wrestling program on Monday.

“This is an extremely important recruiting class for our program moving forward,” Forde said. “We were able to find a big group of committed student-athletes who are eager to make their mark and pursue their academic and athletic goals as Beavers. All 10 weight classes are represented well and this group will add a lot of talent and depth to our roster with many of them challenging for varsity positions right away.”

The 23-member class is well represented across the country, including signees from 17 states and one addition from Canada.

Three members venture to Minot State from Wyoming while California, Illinois and Washington represent two athletes each. The class also features 13 other states with one member.

“This year’s class will help create great competition in our practice room, and I am very excited to welcome this class to the Minot State wrestling program,” added Forde.

The list of signings can be found on page B2.
