MSU track and field at the Ron Masanz Classic

MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minot State track and field teams wrapped up its final competition before the NSIC Outdoor Champions as the Beavers competed at the Ron Masanz Classic on Saturday in Moorhead, Minnesota.

Daniel Daffinrud placed third in the 100m with a time of 10.96.

Devin Kramer posted a seventh place finish with a time of 11.40 in the 100m.

Colin Olson notched a sixth place finish in the 800m with a time of 2:00.80, followed by Dante Gadbois with a time of 2:01.89 to finish eighth.

Ryan Kohler covered the track in 16:01.06 in the 5K to record a fifth place finish.

The men’s 4x100m relay team made up of Ethan Feist, Daffinrud, Kramer and Cole Franck clocked a 44.64 to finish third.

Gadbois, Olson, Chiti Nkhuwa and Franck combined to run a 3:28.64 in the 4x400m relay and finish second.

Abby McGee placed second in the 800m with a finish of 2:22.94.

Lauren Reeves covered the track in 19:14.14 to place seventh in the 5K.

The women’s 4x400m relay team made up of Brinlie Nielsen, Erin Winterton, Autumne Haskell and Amanda Mohr placed second with a time of 4:20.01.

Ben Aasen tossed the javelin 49.58m to notch a sixth place finish.

With a leap of 4.88m, Shae Pederson recorded a seventh place finish in the long jump.

What’s Next

Minot State will compete in the 2019 NSIC Outdoor Championships on Friday and Saturday, May 10-11, in Duluth, Minnesota.
