A smile is a beautiful sight

Over the past few weeks, Elison Assisted Living of Minot has been showing off our residents’ smiles on our social media page as part of our Miles of Smiles project. We wanted to showcase our beautiful residents and brighten up some days in the process.

We had fun creating photographs and sharing some smiles. Our residents and associates grew closer in the process, and we were able to share some lighthearted moments together.

There are plenty of reasons to smile at Elison Assisted Living of Minot. We don’t just smile for the camera. There’s something new for residents each day. From lifestyle events to special occasions, from holiday celebrations to birthday parties, there’s never a dull moment here.

We seek to build a close-knit community where friendships bloom and people from all walks of life can come together and have a great time. Our lifestyle programs are an integral part of this. We want to create special moments within our walls, to create fond memories and opportunities for residents to interact. That’s just part of our Resident First mission. Everything we do revolves around them and their needs, from individualized care plans to restaurant-quality cuisine.

Our special events are designed to be social and beneficial to our residents’ well-being. Pet therapy has been proven to have a positive effect on wellness, so it is a central part of our lifestyle activities. We’re always welcoming pets into our community!

In February we were visited by some hedgehogs and in March we played host to a few turtles. Just last month, a litter of newly born kittens came over and residents were all smiles when they got to hold them!

Elison Assisted Living of Minot strives to provide more than just care – we want to make an impact on lives and create smiles each and every day. Tour today to see what makes our community stand out and how you can join our community!
