Big summer plans at The Wellington

Everyone at the Wellington is so excited to have warm, sunny weather. We have big plans this summer for a few fantastic community events. We will celebrate summer in style with our July Family Night featuring Ryder’s own Daniel Starks singing and strumming his guitar and a delicious barbeque dinner with all the fixings. The event will kick off at 4 p.m. and feature activities for young and old. Please plan to join us on Friday, July 13th!

The Wellington is jazzed up to take part at this year’s ND State Fair Senior Day Festival. The featured theme for 2018 is The Roaring 20’s. So there should be plenty of flapper dresses, pinstriped suits and great jazz band entertainment. Please make your plans to spend Thursday, July 26th from 10:00am – 3:00pm at the Senior Day Festival in the Upper Atrium of the State Fair Center for music, bingo, prizes and more!

In late August, we will have our friends the Dakota Cruisers swing on down for the “Wellington Summer Cruise” on Wednesday, August 22nd. The car club members will shine up their classic cars and trucks and show them off in our parking lot. We will fire up the grill and provide dinner and music. Everyone is welcome to stop by that evening.

Just a reminder that it’s the perfect time to give us a try! The Wellington offers a trial stay for anyone who’s interested. The period usually is about two weeks in length and offers the guest the opportunity to see what The Wellington is all about. The guest can go on outings, join in our daily activities, and meet some new friends and more. Quite honestly the possibilities are endless!

We offer a nominal daily fee and that includes our dedicated, knowledgeable and caring staff available 24 hours a day, lovely partially furnished rooms, a spacious lounge, recreation room, and three delicious meals served each day in our beautiful dining room. Just give us a call at 858-9800 to schedule a tour or visit.
