Weather mod in HB 1166 needs attention

Back in the late ‘70s the state began cost sharing it and the large majority of the state began to participate in the program. 38 counties have participated in this and 34 failed to make it work and 4 still remain. The idea that this bill is necessary to codify a parent’s right to dictate the education of their child is nothing more than a purposely polarizing cover for the continued subjugation and alienation of female and trans students. ND bills set to harm children

Zoe Muccatira, Fargo “Be yourself!” Many North Dakota legislators would disagree with this statement. Multiple anti-LGBTQ+ bills are currently being considered by our legislators to become state law. A large portion of these bills specifically target transgender youth—allowing discriminatory practices in schools and hospitals. North Dakota youth could have their education severely impacted and be prevented from receiving necessary, lifesaving healthcare.
