Strength comes out of adversity

Edana Kitzmann, Minot

Adversity does not come out of God’s word, yet God’s word gives strength.

Sharpened strength from adversity is a tough strength to beat down. That is explained in God’s word about adversity in God’s people’s lives and how His word and His divine wisdom spared and saved them. Again, the gained strength is hard to beat down.

When there is a battle from someone to diminish strength, there might be a tear or two or more cried, as in grief or mourning for someone who is lost. Yet, the tears cried release a chemical to the brain and the nervous system causes relaxation and then the person is strong again, or stronger.

The shootings that have happened are an adversity too horrible to describe and harder yet to grasp the explanation. Let’s hold to God’s word and His wisdom by being where God’s word (the Triune God’s word) is given, spoken, written, sang and taught for our strength through these trying and horrific times.

To everyone who is hurting and/or thoughtful to fix this dilemma: God bless you.
