We demand town halls
Karen Sanderson, Minot
If anyone claims to represent us, they should have the courage to face us.
If you are going to take bodily autonomy from women, you should face us. If you are going to take away medical care, vet jobs, and suicide prevention and only honor vets on holidays, you should face them. If you are going to use racist tropes against Black and brown people, you should face them.
If you are going to take away Medicaid and hospitals from kids and families, you should face them. If you are going to take away clean water and land sovereignty from Indigenous people, you should face them. If you are going to take away the right to exist and access to medical care from LGBTQ citizens, you should face them.
If you are going to force colleges and schools to teach only those subjects you approve of, you should face professors and teachers and parents and students. If you are going after the disabled and their basic human rights and services, you should face them. If you are going to go after immigrants and rip apart their families, you should face them.
If you are going after seniors and our Social Security, you should face us. If you are going after voting rights and making it more difficult for voters to cast a ballot, you should face us.
