Sept.13, 1938-Nov. 13, 2023 Minot Burton E. Olson, 85, Minot, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2023 surrounded by family in a Minot hospital. Burton Elroy Olson was born September 13, 1938, the son of Christopher P. and Iva L. (Sutherland) Olson, in Minot. He was raised on a farm near Parshall. He graduated from Parshall High School in 1956. Burton married Darlene Wittmayer in December of 1962. They made their home in Watford City. A couple of years later they moved out to Edmonds, WA.
