Ronald Larson

Lakeville, Minn.

Ronald Eugene Larson, age 84, passed away on January 24, 2026, in Lakeville, Minnesota. Born on January 19, 1942, in Sheyenne, North Dakota, and growing up in Minot, Ron enjoyed a simple life focused on family, his beloved dogs, and the great outdoors. Ron went to Minot State University before going on to receive a Masters from Bemidji State University. He had a long, fulfilling career teaching 6th grade, math and physical education in Richfield, MN.

Ron is survived by his wife, Jesslyn Dell Larson (Geving), with whom he shared many decades of love and even more pets. Together they raised three children: Keri (Scott) Larson-Gulsvig, Jared (Tammy) Larson, and Trisha (Dan) McCabe. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also remembered by his siblings Karol (Phil) Lowe and Scott Larson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys Christina Larson (Kihlstrom) and Virgil Larson, as well as his brother Charles (Janice) Larson.

Ronald Eugene Larson was truly one of a kind–a friend to all who crossed his path. May his memory bring comfort and laughter to those who loved him.
