Roy Seney, 93, Minot, formerly of Bismarck, died September 22, 2025 in a Minot nursing home.
Roy Keith Seney was born on October 9, 1931 to Ira and Blondina (Holmes) Seney. He was raised in Newman Township on the family farm and moved to Minot with his family at the age of 9. He graduated from Minot High School in 1949.
Roy married Joyce Ann Hamilton on November 10, 1949. They made their home in Minot. This union would be blessed with seven children.
Roy worked for Behm’s Propane and Twin City Freight. In the late 70’s, Roy ventured out and started his own Heating and Sheet Metal business in Bismarck.
Roy loved bingo at the Grain Hopper, especially with his kids. He also loved to shoot pool and was good at it. Roy enjoyed going to the lake to fish and boating with the family. He found joy in sudoku puzzles and reading a good book by his favorite author, Louie Lamore. He was a true jokester.
Roy is survived by his children: daughter, Connie (Randall) Vinson; sons, Terry (Lori) Seney, Randy (Nancy) Seney, Keith (Candy) Seney; 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joyce Ann, daughters Carol Moffitt, Nancy Saucier and Kimberly Seney and special friend Millie Sather.
Celebration of Roy’s Life: 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the Thomas Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation: Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
