Timothy Lemar, 80, Minot, died Monday, September 1, 2025 in a Minot Hospital.

Timothy Albert Lemar was born on November 17, 1944, a son of Henry and Florence (Bruner) Lemar in Harvey, ND. He was raised and educated in Drake, ND, where he graduated from Drake High School in 1962.

On October 14, 1965, Tim enlisted into the United States Army. He proudly served his country, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Rifle Sharp Shooter Badge and the Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged on October 13, 1967.

On June 23, 1972, Tim was united in marriage to Carol Lageson in Anamoose, ND. They made their home in Minot, where Tim began working for the Carpenters Union 1091, as a carpenter, working on the Coal Mines, Mattson Construction and Rolac Construction. He retired in 2011.

He enjoyed pinochle at the Moose Lodge, as well as, playing Bingo, and playing cards down at the Grain Hopper. He also enjoyed supporting all the racers down at the racetrack as a spectator. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot, and the Minot American Legion Post #26.

Timothy is survived by his Wife of 53 years, Carol; Children: Paul Lemar, Kayla (Josh) Ebbert, and Scott Lageson; Siblings: Terry (Pat) Lemar, JoAnn Rhone, Henry (Betty) Lemar, Bridget Tervola, Neal (Susan)Lemar, Dora (Jim) Jenson, Lora (Rod) Hill; Grandchildren: Scott Gerhing, Charly Watson; Lily, Averie Lageson,; Great-Grandchildren: Wim Ebbert and Adessia Ebbert, Brynlee Sue Gerhing; Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, son Chad, brother Charles Lemar and brothers-in-law Duanne Tervola, James and Dianne (Keller) Lageson, William (Frannie) Lageson, and Dennis Rhone. Father-in-law & Mother-in-law Ernest & Dorothy (Kucera) Lageson.

Visitation: Monday, September 08, 2025, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Vigil Prayer Service: Monday, September 08, 2025 at 5pm in Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.

Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, September 09, 2025 at NOON at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
