Dennis Lee Markwardt, 82, formerly of Makoti and Minot, North Dakota, passed away peacefully on August 29th , 2024, at his home in Elida, New Mexico. His ashes will be laid to rest in a private graveside ceremony at 11 a.m. on August 2, 2025, at St. Paul’s Lutheran cemetery in Makoti, North Dakota. Following interment, all friends and family are invited to a fellowship lunch with the family hosted at the Makoti Senior Center from 12-2 p.m.
